Learn about the Boston Terrier
The American gentleman in a tuxedo
The Boston Terrier was bred in America in the late 1800s from bulldog-and-terrier crosses, made smaller to be a pet. In our family tree, its ancestors include the Bulldog and the old English White Terrier. It is still a popular pet, nicknamed the American Gentleman because of its smart black-and-white coat.
