Learn about the Boxer
Playful, loyal, and forever young at heart
The Boxer was bred in Germany in the late 1800s from the Bullenbeisser, meaning bull-biter, an old German dog that caught boar and bulls, mixed with the Bulldog. In our family tree, its ancestors include the old German boarhounds and the Bulldog. It is a popular working dog and family pet today. Tap a circle inside to keep digging.
