Learn about the Greyhound

The world's fastest couch potato

The Greyhound is Britain's version of a very old kind of dog that hunts by sight, chasing at top speed across open ground. In our family tree, it comes from the Celtic hounds, with older sighthounds from the East. An amazing number of later hounds, terriers, lurchers and racing dogs have Greyhound in them.
